At Beta Plus Surrogacy, our story is one of vision, trust, and compassion. More than 15 years ago, our founder, David Bezhuashvili, helped introduce surrogacy to Georgia at a time when the idea was still new here. By bringing international families to Georgia, he and his team not only pioneered surrogacy in the region but also opened doors for countless intended parents around the world to realize their dreams of building a family.

In life, there comes a moment when a person asks themselves: “Why am I here on Earth? For what purpose, or on what mission?” After a significant personal transformation, I found the answer to this question: this is my mission – to help the world and people create new life. So, I embarked on this mission more than 15 years ago.
Fifteen years ago, my wife and I faced the same heart-wrenching question many couples silently carry: “What happens when you want to become parents, but nature puts a wall in your path?”
After enduring countless treatments, emotional battles, and years of waiting, we finally found ourselves holding our dream in our arms — thanks to the miracle of surrogacy. That moment transformed our lives and our outlook forever. It opened my eyes not only to the deep emotional pain and longing so many couples face, but also to the lack of accessible, high-quality surrogacy services for those who need them most.
Out of this deeply personal experience, I made a promise — to myself, to my family, and to every couple still waiting for their chance: No one should have to face this struggle alone. My surrogacy agency was born out of love, understanding, and the desire to give hope where it’s needed most.
I deeply believe there is no nobler and more love-filled work than this. It is my belief, and I instill this belief in every member of my team. The people here are inspired by love for this mission; they spare no effort, working with care and tireless dedication to contribute to creating another life.

Meet Our Team
Nini Apkhazava
Head of Journey Management
With more than eight years of experience as Head of Human Resources, Nini now leads the operational side of Beta Plus Surrogacy. In her role, she ensures that the agency’s processes run smoothly and that both clients and staff feel fully supported at every stage of the surrogacy journey.
Her background in HR has given her a deep understanding of the importance of people, communication, and care in every aspect of her work. Nini takes pride in keeping operations organized and effective, always with the goal of creating a positive experience for intended parents and the team alike.
What inspires her most is the happiness that surrogacy brings to families. For Nini, being part of this process is both a professional responsibility and a personal source of joy.
Nino Giorgobiani
Head of the Pregnancy Care Department
Nini holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Philology from Tbilisi State University and a Master’s degree in European Integration and Labor Relations from Georgian-American University. Her academic training has provided her with a strong foundation in communication, international cooperation, and the understanding of complex social systems.
Since 2022, Nino has worked in the healthcare sector, where her focus has always been on patient care and well-being. At Beta Plus Surrogacy, she serves as Head of the Pregnancy Care Department, where she is dedicated to guiding intended parents throughout the pregnancy journey. She ensures they feel informed, supported, and secure — both emotionally and medically — at every stage.
For Nino, being part of such a transformative process is more than a professional responsibility; it is a true privilege and a deeply fulfilling experience.
Mariam Botchorishvili
Head of Client Partnership
Mariam holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Georgian National University and brings over ten years of experience in sales, logistics, billing, and project management. Her broad experience equips her with a disciplined and well-rounded approach to leading her work.
At Beta Plus Surrogacy, Mariam guides intended parents through one of life’s most emotional journeys — building a family. She leads our sales team, manages client relationships, and ensures every interaction and process is undertaken with professionalism, transparency, and care. Her expertise in international logistics and billing allows her to navigate complex operations smoothly, while her sales background emphasizes empathy and trust in every conversation.
What Mariam values most in her role is the human connection: witnessing families grow and knowing she has played a meaningful part in their journey. She sees her work as a privilege — one that brings real joy and purpose.
Outside of work, Mariam cherishes quality time with family, enjoys traveling, and exploring new cultures — all of which enrich her ability to connect with people from around the world.
Teko Svanidze
Head of Legal Counsel
Teko brings over six years of legal experience from various firms and companies to her role as Head of the Legal Department at Beta Plus Surrogacy. She is responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of the agency’s work — from contract negotiations to supervising documentation across branches — ensuring that every process is compliant, efficient, and transparent.
She values her role as both protector and guide, safeguarding the interests of intended parents while supporting the company’s operations. For Teko, legal work is not only about documents and procedures but also about trust, safety, and integrity.
